What is a “worldview”?
Whether you can answer that question or not—you have one!
A “worldview” is a way of seeing your world. Making sense of the world around you. But it’s even more than that.
It encompasses your philosophy of life, your presuppositions, the things you believe—consciously or unconsciously.
It’s what you perceive as reality.
Said another way, your worldview is the lens through which you view everything—even life itself.
Your school-age children are more than likely learning from popular history “revisionists,” who believe America does not have a Christian heritage.
Teddy Roosevelt commenting on America’s Christian heritage said:
“. . . the teachings of the Bible are so interwoven and entwined with our whole civic and social life that it would be literally impossible for us to figure to ourselves what that life would be if these teachings were removed.”
